Motorcycle Diaries: Day 3---Sunday, July 14, 2013

Left Buena Vista early this morning and headed to Salida, CO. Nice town. Had breakfast at The Patio Pancake Place at over 7,000 ft. Great food!

From Salida traveled South on 285 to Monte Vista then 160 West to Del Norte, Pagosa
Springs, then on to Durango. Got rained on again, but beautiful country!

Spent the afternoon in downtown Durango at the patio of the Carver Brewing Company a
couple of blocks from our hotel The Downtown Inn. Later a long soak in the covered hot
tub.

Let it rain!

200 miles today. Thank you, Lord for safe travels!

Visit tomorrow for Day 4 of Motorcycle Diaries!

Arrived at Estes Park early afternoon. Just beat the rain. Drizzled all afternoon, but that didn't dampen our spirits. Great time catching up. Friends rented a house behind the Stanley Hotel in Estes. Nice time. Great Healthy Lasagna. Thanks, Cindy!
